At the core of the project is the deployment of customised, user-friendly digital devices and interfaces for real-time environmental and experiential data collection, building on the Smart Citizen Kit.
These tools enable participants to monitor environmental factors such as noise, light, or air quality, and to better understand how sensory conditions affect everyday experiences in public spaces.
The project’s key outputs include an inclusive training curriculum, a tailored digital system for data collection, visualisation, and analysis, and practical recommendations for improving sensory accessibility.
Through these outcomes, AURA enhances VET methodologies, raises awareness of sensory inclusion among public administrations, and supports the creation of more accessible, sustainable, and scalable solutions for different social and urban contexts.
